Adoration

Adoration, involves the worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass. The Eucharistic Host, the presence of Christ, is lovingly displayed in a magnificent monstrance on the altar, allowing all to behold its glory and offering a space for devout prayer.

At Oaklands, we strive to in our students the understanding that prayer can take many forms, and as such, we present them with a rich tapestry of prayer experiences. Every year group has the opportunity to partake in either a Mission day or a year group mass. During these special occasions, each class is warmly welcomed into the Chapel to engage in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. This tranquil and reflective time of prayer is led by our Chaplain or Priest, enveloped in the soothing embrace of calming music, creating a sacred atmosphere for spiritual prayer and reflection.
