Carols for the Community

We were delighted to be able to hold our Carol Service again on Wednesday 13th December our Year 7 students had been preparing for the event in their Music Lessons this half term.

Our service wraps music and readings around the story of the virgin birth. The evening included traditional carols, music and  Gospel readings and it was wonderful to see the Hall full of families, visitors and staff.

For many of our families the Carol service will be the only occasion over the festive season where they will touch and engage with the true message of Christmas in both prayer and song.

Each year we choose a charity to support, this year it was the Rowans Hospice, over £600 was raised.

Guests enjoyed  mulled wine and mince pies after the event

Updated Spring 2024

Over the COVID years the school produced a large number of on line worship activities.

Some of these involved students from Oaklands, others students from across the Portsmouth area.
