Success Stories

Ruthie is studying Maths at Queens University Belfast.

Emile has gained a place at Cambridge University to study Maths.

Daisy studies Maths, Biology, Chemistry and French. She  went to university to study medicine.

Elliot played in the 1st XI  scoring many tries for the College. He is studying A Levels in Maths, Geography and PE. He is pursuing a career in the navy.

Dany is now studying Geography at Portsmouth University.

Sean is studying Geology at university  after studying English Literature, Biology and Geography.

Sandra is investigating a degree in Midwifery. She studies Health& Social Care, French and Sociology.

Eoin is considering a career as a teacher, though he is also interested in a degree in Archaeology. He studied English Literature, Biology and History at A Level.

Eleanor Andrews has gone on to study Medicine at University of Nottingham.

Ed studied for an accountancy degree apprenticeship with Smith & Williamson in London.

Emily took three A Levels: Psychology, Sociology and Maths.

Lloyd studied management at the University of Bristol.

Megan had gap year next year, then went to university to do media and communications. She has been doing competitive gymnastics since the age of 7, competing at 8 British championships for Teamgym. She has taken part in five international cups with her squad and a European competition last year, which is where Megan represented Great Britain involving a whole year’s training leading up to squad selection. Her best apparatus is floor and have recently got a level one coaching award for gymnastics and coach gymnastics part time.

Judy went to Exeter to study Maths; she then completed a Masters in Classics and Ancient History. Judy doing a PhD at Durham combining her two interests  – and it all started here at Oaklands.

Josh is now studying in the US at the University of North Carolina.
