Sisters Of Christ
In 2009 the Governing body thought it would be a good idea to create an award that recognised thee contribution colleagues make to Catholic education, either within the school or more generally. The award was named after the Sisters of Christ who were the order of nuns responsible for the foundation of the school. It was their vision that secured Catholic education in this part of Hampshire and more importantly their charism which is wound into the DNA of Oaklands today.
The award has now been given 8 times, to present the award we invite back one of the sisters. Awardees include, Judith Hoar who completed almost 40 years in the Service of Catholic Education and Helen Floyd a former chaplain. Julie Oldroyd a former deputy being the last recipient.
